Bluu Overview
Everybody knows that Hoxton is home to London's most pretentious fashion victims and Bluu is lucky to have escaped their curse. Number 1 Hoxton Square is just about the most desirable address in London at the moment, but thankfully that hasn't gone to the Bluu Bar's head even if the first floor location means it literally looks down on the rest of the Square.
There is plenty of seating upstairs and in the dimly lit basement, where DJs play on the weekends. Bluu doesn't seem as busy as some of its neighbours for whatever reason, but in a square which now draws in crowds from all over London, that is a very good thing while it lasts. (Updated 10/11/2005)
