Wolfe's Bar & Grill Overview
Wolfe's Bar & Grill is one of Covent Garden's most fashionable restaurants and cocktail bars and has one of the most welcoming interiors of any restaurant in the area. Honey tinted mirrors reflect the well appointed cocktail bar and tables which combine space and comfort with an alluring intimacy. The sensibly priced menu adds to the fine reputation of the grill room.
The first Wolfe's restaurant was opened in 1975 at 34 Park Lane next to the Playboy Club and The Hilton Hotel. It was an instant success with constant queuing for tables and, a few years later, a second larger unit was created in Basil Street, behind Harrods. Hugely successful and extremely busy it went on till late 1997 when the building was demolished for redevelopment. Wolfe's are now operating from one unit only in Covent Garden. (Updated 23/08/2006)
