Urban Turban Overview
This fabulously-named restaurant in London's Notting Hill is the first 'street food eatery' from owner Vineet Bhatia. Based on his food experiences growing up in Mumbai, Vineet has opened a slinky restaurant with mirrors, banquettes and high purple ceilings. The huge windows look out onto the bustle of this fashionable area and diners can enjoy fun and exciting food - and it doesn't come much more exciting than the 'Sharing Platter', in which a hot, volcanic stone is used to grill fish, lamb rolls and chicken tikka at your table. There are tapas, gunpowder prawns, Bhalla Chaat and a host of other inspiring dishes. An extensive drinks menu completes the experience. (Updated 16/07/2008)
