A compact little wine bar come restaurant at the end of Clapham high street under Clapham’s independent cinema, the Picture House.
Industrial girders prop up the ceiling, walnut veneer and upholster seating cover the walls. Either sit at the bar on one of the world's heaviest stools and try one of the many cocktails at £5.75, (changed every six weeks) or dine romantically at one of the candle lit table.
Moroccan meets Italian when it comes to the food. Sample dishes include the fish cakes with Bok Choi Slaw and sweet dipping sauce (£5.50) and Seared Tuna with Spiced Okra and Cous Cous (£11.50).
Funky world music and a large visual display unit above the bar mix modern and old worlds. (Updated 17/04/2006)
