The Chef's Table Overview
The Chef's Table is a welcome addition to the fine dining experience on offer at The Montague. A small, friendly and intimate restaurant, its style is both light and airy throughout lunchtime yet warm and cosy in the evening over candlelight.
Surrounded on three sides by a panoramic view of London circa 1849 together with rich mahogany panelled walls, the ambience is pleasantly balanced with the effective use of mirrored glass and contemporary wrought iron wall lights.
As always the exquisite cuisine is simple and fresh, with seasonal herbs picked straight from The Montague's own herb garden. Chef’s specialities include Seared Scallops with Vanilla & Lime Risotto and Braised Tail of Monkfish wrapped in Pancetta with Cassoulet of Beans.
The Chef's Table is open Mon-Fri 12.30-2.30pm, Sat-Sun 1-2.30pm, Mon-Sun 5.30-10.30pm (Updated 30/11/2008)
