The Boardroom Bar & Grill Overview
Throughout the day and evening the Boardroom, an independently owned, air-conditioned, winebar and grill is where you’ll find City workers dining, drinking, relaxing and partying in the heart of the City of London. Ideally situated, close to Liverpool Street Station, near the junction of London Wall (Wormwood Street) and Bishopsgate. The bar was established in 2004, recently refurbished and is run by Cord Weston who has many years’ experience of running bars and restaurants within the City; ably supported by his assistant manager Charlene and their staff.
The bar caters for lunches, both formal and informal, and private dinners by arrangement. The restaurant offers a traditional grill menu, together with a selection of fish dishes.
A selection of salads and vegetarian options are available, with daily Chef’s specials. The menu changes on a regular basis. The restaurant offers a non-smoking area. Their fish, meat and vegetables are delivered daily from London’s quality markets.
A good selection of hot & cold bar snacks is available at lunch and evenings including sandwiches, panninis and wraps, chips and nachos. These can also be ordered to take back to your office.
There is an excellent wine list with Guinness, 1664 and John Smiths on draught for those who enjoy a pint, accompanied by a comprehensive range of international bottled beers, including Coopers and James Boags, for you Aussies out there!
Televised news and events can be viewed on our two large flat screens, broadcasting terrestrial and Sky TV.
On Saturday & Sunday the Boardroom Bar is available for private hire. (Updated 12/05/2006)
