Souk Bazaar Overview
Stepping into Souk is like stepping into Morocco itself; you are welcomed by low-lighting, low-seating, plush cushions and vivid colour schemes. Souk is also very child-friendly and a popular place for spotting celebrities. However, the food is the biggest star here; North African cooking caters for vegetarians and carnivores alike, incorporating bold and earthy flavours to wonderful effect. Grilled aubergine and potato salad is a popular starter and the tagines here are wonderfully presented. Couscous Royal is well worth a try and the desserts cleanse your palate with subtle, aromatic flavours; try the crepes with chocolate and rose-water cream (Updated 16/07/2008)
