Shanghai Blues Overview
Shanghai Blues is situated in the grade II listed building that formerly housed the St Giles Library, the restaurant and bar is in keeping with the understated luxury of its surroundings. The menu focuses on traditional regional cuisine from Shanghai, offering a more purist dining experience.
Split into five distinct areas, the feelings of space and luxury is palpable throughout the venue: the bar is perfect for a pre-dinner drink while the mezzanine lounge is ideal for cocktails and canapes; the 'Silk' dining room invites diners for an opulent meal, whilst the 'Tea' dining room is great for smaller gatherings. The private dining room welcomes those guests who are after privacy. Elements of traditional Chinese interior design have been used throughout the restauarnt but have been pared down to a modern reinterpretation. (Updated 28/08/2008)
