Gordon’s Bar and Restaurant Overview
Situated in the middle of menswear, it’s fitting that Gordon’s is named after the man himself, Gordon Selfridge, who founded the concept of the modern department store in 1909. The overall ambience here is of an old gentlemen’s club, but it’s a popular spot with lads and their ladies alike.
The menu is based around tried and tested classics – huge salads, paninis, a hot special and the infamous Gordon’s club sandwich. The bar is abuzz in the evening, with people gathering for cocktails (choose from the list or have the barman make his most devilish for you) and a pick-and-mix food platter.
Be prepared to queue at peak times like Christmas and weekends, but you’ll find the atmosphere is worth the wait.
