Gilt Champagne Lounge Overview

Situated on the ground floor of the Jumeriah Carlton Tower Hotel, The Gilt Champagne bar is a stunning addition to this already divine hotel.
Myself & my friend, a regular at the Dubai Jumeriah Beach hotel, was so impressed with the Gilt, she’ll be making this her new regular when in London, it was the perfect start to a fabulous night on the town.
The atmosphere is so charming and delicious it’s like walking into a box of chocolates, decorated in gold’s, pearl & chocolate The Gilt is simply breathtaking from the minute you walk through it's fabulous replica forties gold doors. In true Jumeriah style every detail has been thought off and simply oozes perfection, right down to the music.
The Gilt only opened at the end of 2006, but has already proved a massive hit with the oh so beautiful people of Knightsbridge. A popular choice for pre or post dinner with a very feminine and alluring atmosphere making it irresistible to couples & ladies. That's not to say that the gents don't also enjoy this fabulous bar whilst sipping champagne and enjoying the beautiful view.
The attentive staff are on hand for your every need and the knowledge of their menus was extremely impressive and helpful when trying to select the all important choice of cocktail! The Gilt has a mix of sophisticated, elegant and mouth watering cocktails to choose from. I highly recommend the Royal Twist: a mix of Strawberries, Raspberries, crème de Mur, vodka lemon juice and Champagne, all presented in a class of its own.
Sushi is also complimentary to all between 6.60 – 7.30 and was a very welcome offering to the cosy couples enjoying a romantic drink by candle light.
We weren’t planning to sample the menu, but it was rude not to and it was a wise decision! The Gilt is simply a stunning experience from start to finish. (Updated 07/02/2007)
