Since first opening in 1939, Geales restaurant has been a neighbourhood favourite among Notting HIl locals, serving quality fish and chips for over 68 years. In May 2007, the famous fish and chippy re-launched with a new look and new menu, but still retaining the British chip-shop mentality - fresh fish, no frills and fabulous service. The glamorous champagne bar is the perfect spot to indulge in Duchy of Cornwall oysters and a glass of Ruinart champagne. Open for lunch and dinner everyday, closed Monday lunch. (Updated 02/08/2008)

London's first posh fish and chippy offers the best battered fish and chips in town. Choose from cod, hake or haddock caught fresh daily from Cornwall and served with tartare sauce and the yummiest chips you have ever had. Still room for more.... it is a tough choice between old time favourites treacle tart or eaton mess.
