Fluid Eating's Review of Fredericks Restaurant
Fredericks is set in a spacious, airy and intimate area beneath a spectacular vaulted glass roof. It overlooks the patio and garden, which are open for drinks or dining whenever it's warm enough. The food has a distinct European accent; cuisine is sophisticated without being outlandish. For head chef Adam Hilliard, good cooking is imaginative, every element of a dish has to sit together perfectly; inventiveness never excludes simplicity. (Updated 01/01/2007)
