Franco's Restaurant & Bar Overview
Located at the St James' end of Jermyn Street, Franco's has been offering Italian and Mediterranean cuisine for over 60 years.
Franco’s restaurant, established in 1946, has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and re-opened October 2005. The redesign compliments the magnificent Edwardian exterior of the building with a 1940's interior style. The Italian and Mediterranean menu focuses on simplicity and quality of product. The use of seasonal ingredients ensures that the menu is constantly evolving. This, along with daily specials, ensures that there are always new and interesting dishes.
The café, open from 7:30am to 11:00pm serves a continental breakfast which includes croissants, toast, Danish pastries, teas and coffees as well as a range of fresh juices. From 2:30pm the café offers a selection of smaller dishes, Assaggi.
Later in the afternoon and into the evening, the bar and outside seating provide a comfortable place to enjoy a coffee, glass of wine or Prosecco either before dinner or as the perfect finish to a busy day. Open from 7:30am to 11:00pm, the bar and adjoining tables offer the ideal breakfast meeting place. Remaining open all day, the bar is available for an early or late lunch, a relaxing after work drink or light meal. In the warmer months guests can take advantage of the outside tables, relaxing over a perfect cappuccino whilst watching the world go by.
At lunch the restaurant offers a fixed price menu of £20 for two courses and £25 for three. An evening la carte menu continues to present exiting Italian and Mediterranean dishes.
There are two private dining rooms which offer guests the privacy of a dinner up to 16 guests and features a plasma screen and an independent sound system. Alternatively for larger parties it can be opened up to accommodate up to 60 guests. The private dining room is the ideal place for any celebratory occasion. Guests will enjoy menus to suit any occasion and personal waiters to ensure that you and your guests are expertly looked after throughout your seamless event. (Updated 02/03/2006)
