El Faro Overview
El Faro was set up by three friends who share a passion for Spanish cuisine. Their aim at El Faro is to bring the gastronomic delights of Spain to the picturesque waterside location of Turnberry Quay in London’s docklands.
Their Head Chef, Javier Capella, is renowned for not only his technical ability but his creative re-invention of Spanish classics.
El Faro (which is Spanish for lighthouse) looks out over the beautiful scenery of the Crossharbour dock yet is only 10 minutes from bustling Canary Wharf. The light, elegant dining room is done in natural colours, complemented by chocolate brown seating and offset by the wonderful views of the water. (Updated 02/10/2007)
