Cottons Restaurant & Rhum Shack Camden Overview
Cottons' entrance on Chalk Farm Road (close to both Camden Town and Chalk Farm tube stations) is deceptively modest. Once inside the restaurant opens out before you with Jamaica, their lavish (aptly named) bar area leading to their 3 dining rooms, each themed on a different Caribbean island: St Lucia, Margarita and Barbados. With a seating capacity of 80 persons, each room has been individually designed and decorated to capture the tropical ambience of the West Indies.
Jamaica bar offers a range of 150 different rums from the islands and an inspired cocktail list. Some of the 'famous faces' seen at the Rhum Shack includes Lemar, Mario Van Peebles, Sol Campbell, Samuel L Jackson to name just a few.
There is no such word as 'basic' in Cottons - every dish is presented with class and style. The menu reflects this with inspirations from Hispanic Margarita skillfully blended with French and Jamaican influences.
