Celebrate Bastille Day at La Cave Restaurant & Bar

Celebrate Bastille Day at La Cave
on July 4th.

14th July, Bastille day, is soon upon us and we at La Cave feel it’s our responsibility and frankly, civic duty to celebrate this fabulous occasion that marks the birth of La République, in (French) style!

Therefore we are planning a special evening complete with live music, waiters in full Parisian attire and the French colours to be seen everywhere!

La Cave is a lovely French restaurant tucked in a leafy pedestrian alley between Southwark cathedral and London bridge. Its terrace is the perfect setting for an evening of music in the open air with live performances from a gypsy/jazz/swing quartet and accordionist playing popular French street/”bal musette” music.

Raise a glass of Pastis or wine in the spirit of the revolution while enjoying selections of French cheese platters or charcuteries and sing along to the “Marseillaise”

Feel free to dress up for the occasion in your best beret and can-can skirt, as there will be a bottle of NV Moutardier champagne for best attire.

When: Monday July 14th 5.30-11pm

Where: La Cave Restaurant & Wine Bar
Montague close
6-10 Borough High street
Tube: London Bridge
Buses: 35, 47, 48, 149, 133, 21, 141, 43
