Bumbles Restaurant Overview
Bumbles Restaurant, named after the famous beadle in Dickens's Oliver Twist, is one of London's longest surviving Restaurants. It has now been serving British food in Buckingham Palace Road for over 35 years. Whilst the Restaurant has undergone various changes over the years, the basic principles have remained the same; namely, the serving of first class food at fair princes in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
During lunch times, Bumbles is a popular hunt for local businessmen, politician and some Buckingham Palace staff. In the evenings the atmosphere is more informal and is conducive to a relaxed dinner with friends, colleagues or family.
Whilst the food is mainly British, Bumbles are proud of their extensive wine list offering over 60 wines from around the world covering a broad range of tastes and prices. (Updated 19/08/2006)
