Bombay Bicycle Club Overview
The Bombay Bicycle Club was a popular gathering place in the Northern part of the Indian sub-continent, where the first colonial officers and soldiers used to gather during the time of the Raj.
The first Bombay Bicycle Club Restaurant opened in Nightingale Lane, Clapham, 20 years ago and is a regular favourite of many of London’s top chefs and restaurant critics.
With an increasing demand for a home delivery and catering services, the first stand alone kitchen was opened in Queenstown Road in Battersea in 1995 followed by a further 9 kitchens. All of the restaurants’ qualities have simply been transferred to the kitchens where quality food is provided for home delivery or special events. A further 2 restaurants in Holland Park and Hampstead allow the finest dining experience north of the river.
Today Bombat Bicycle Club are proud to boast their distinctive restaurants, popular delivery kitchens and their unique catering and events division.
The Bombay Bicycyle Clubs philosophy is to create simple, yet fresh inventive Indian cuisine, using raw ingredients of the highest quality. Their menu is designed to suit the taste of the European palate; spicy and aromatice but not searingly hot. Their chef will be pleased to prepare your meal to your specific taste.
