Benihana (Chelsea) Overview
In 1964, there emerged on the fiercely competitive New York restaurant scene a totally new concept in luxury dining. It was called Benihana of Tokyo.
Benihana’s food preparation methods immediately set it apart from other restaurants, as it had no conventional kitchen. Instead Chefs prepared and cooked entrees at a table called a “Hibachi Grill”. Since the opening of the first Benihana, Rocky Akoi the founder has natured his theme into a successful international food chain.
Benihana Chelsea located on the fashionable Kings Road is a glamorous and elegant restaurant. The Restaurant was the second to open in the U.K in 1993. The restaurant can accommodate 140 covers.
Chefs dazzle you whilst cooking a variety of fine steak, vegetables and fresh seafood in front of your very eyes at your Teppan table. Benihana also offer an a la carte Sushi Menu which is available for guests to eat in or take away during lunch and dinner.
Also the restaurant offers a private dining room and lounge area for 10 people.
Benihana is open seven days a week:
Lunch: 12noon - 3pm (Mon - Sun)
Dinner: 5.30 - 10.30pm (Mon - Sat)
