Bar Red Overview
Walking down Kingly Street, Bar Red looks almost brothel like with its sultry red interior glowing out the upstairs windows. Style Bar in nature, Bar Red has excellent service from attractive staff in a sexy chilled atmosphere. Comfortable red leather sofas and couches are found both on the ground floor and the basement.
There’s a fantastic bar menu following an east Asian theme and superb cocktails, many of which have been invented by the bar manager, Dave. Ones to check out are the classic Mohito and the Cadmus (named after a bar Dave ran in Oz).
Bar Red is discreet West End bar appealing to an unpretentious clientele (many of which are regulars) who enjoy the warm hospitality of the staff and the quality of the cocktails. (Updated 10/01/2007)
