Located between Cheapside & Gresham Street, minutes walk from St Paul's Cathedral, The Guildhall and Bank Tube Station, Balls Brothers at Carey Lane is not just ideally located but is probably the first wine bar to be opened in the City in 1960.
The fully air conditioned restaurant & bar are ideal for lunches, buffets, private dinners, wine tastings & themed events.
The Restaurant is open for lunch Monday to Friday and the menu changes on a regular basis reflecting seasonality with dishes such as Roast Garlic & Rosemary Rack of Lamb alongside Grilled Lemon Sole. For private dining the restaurant is available for exclusive use in the evenings and has a varied selection of set party menus.
The Bar is open 11.00am to 11.00pm Monday to Friday serving extensive lunch and evening menus that have something for everyone from freshly cut sandwiches, delicious light snacks to mouthwatering main course dishes. Within the bar, private areas & alcoves can be reserved for informal lunch & evening parties.
The Bar & Restaurant is available for exclusive hire at weekends. In addition to private dinners & parties Balls Brothers also host specialist wine dinners and tastings throughout the year many hosted by visiting winemakers.
The Restaurant & Bar are both complimented by the extensive Balls Brothers Wine List which enjoys a balance of Aged & New World Wines that have been carefully selected for your drinking pleasure.
