Arowana Overview
In South East Asian culture, The Dragon represents a significant icon. If you are born in the year of the Dragon you are considered to have a head start in life. The Arowana, also known as the Dragon Fish because of its slender body, distinctive and reflective scales, makes it resemble the mythical and mighty dragon.
The South East Asian Arowana is arguably the most prized aquarium fish in the world and the most expensive. Indeed, it claims the highest amount ever paid for a single fish.
In Asia people started collecting the Arowana, not just on account of their beautiful and unique appearance but because they believed it to bring 'health', 'happiness' & 'fulfilment' and also being vital to business success.
